Mandi Jourdan is the author of Lacrimosa (Adelaide Books), Veritas (Adelaide Books), Shadows of the Mind (Aphotic Realm), and The Silenced (Bloodstone Press). She won the Missouri Review’s Miller Audio Prize for Prose in 2019 with her short audio piece “Inheritance.” The Shadows of the Mind podcast based on her novel series is available on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, and all other major listening platforms.
Mandi is the co-editor of Alcyone, a speculative literary magazine. She is a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a BA in English/Creative Writing, and she is currently pursuing her MFA in Fiction at SIUC. She is also an actor, with credits both in audio fiction and on the stage. As an undergraduate, she wrote and produced adaptations of two of the Harry Potter novels in the style of Shakespeare.
